SPECIALTY DANCE CLASSES
Barre Fitness is a full-body workout! Dancers and non-dancers alike will benefit from the various exercises designed to improve strength, coordination, flexibility, and mobility. It's a fun, low-impact, 45-minute conditioning class that can be enjoyed by everyone. Participants are desired to work at their own pace!
Intended participants: Adults, but anyone age 11+ is welcome
Dress Code: modest workout attire. Please bring a yoga mat and a yoga block if you have one
Next Step Dance Team
Hey Dance Teamers - we know you are discouraged that your season have been canceled, but here is a solution!
Dancers from all over are invited to join our brand new dance team!
Come practice in preparation for performance and competition (hopefully in the Spring).
Dancers will warm-up and condition, work on technique, and learn routines.
Dancers age 11+
- shorts or leggings
- fitted tank tops/shirts (modest attire)
- hair up/back
- minimal jewelry
- dance shoes
Traditionally, Jazz classes will perform 2-3 times per season. NSD will be looking for performance opportunities for Jazz classes as the circumstances around the pandemic change.
