"The Junior Colleens"

Students in grades 3 - 5 from any school

​

Season: September - June 2022-2023

​

Practices: Mondays & Wednesdays 

​

Location: @ Next Step Dance

​

The Junior Team performs and competes throughout the season!

We enjoy performing at showcases and events and competing at local and state-wide competitions.

We have monthly team bondings, participate in camps, clinics, and workshops, and perform in our studio

productions, showcases and recital!

NEW this year - While we strongly encourage dancers to participate in both days,

dancers now have the option to participate in JRJC on Mondays and/or JRHP on Wednesdays.

JRJC = Junior Dance Team (Jazz & Contemporary)

JRHP = Junior Dance Team (Hip Hop & Pom)

​

Also NEW this year = we are planning to take a POM team to Nationals!

Dancers will audition during their Junior Dance Team auditions on Wednesday, August 31st.

The Nationals Pom team will consist of dancers ages 10-18 who are selected to join!

AUDITIONS!

Wednesday, August 31

Junior Jazz & Contemporary 4:30 - 5:15

Junior Hip Hop & Pom 5:15 - 6:00

Middle School Jazz & Contemporary 6:00 - 6:45

Middle School Hip Hop & Pom 6:45 - 7:30

National's Pom Team:

Ages 10 - grade 5 = Attend the Junior Hip Hop & Pom  audition 

Grade 6 - 12 = Middle School Hip Hop & Pom audition

Cost is $10 per audition/per dancer

Payment = cash at door, Venmo with dancer name, or can be added to your online account

Dancers should wear appropriate, (full-coverage) dance attire and shoes for each audition.

Auditions are closed to spectators.
